First Annual IBM Softball Challenge Cup, Who's In??

IBM Students,

Who says the IBM Department doesn’t know how to have fun?

Anybody ready for the First Annual IBM Softball Challenge Cup?

Here’s the plan. The four IBM student clubs engage in a softball playoff with the winner of the playoff getting the right to take on the undefeated FACULTY TEAM in a winner take all showdown for the prized IBM Challenge Cup AND bragging rights for an entire year! (Warning: the faculty team cheats and reserves the right to stack its lineup!)

If you’re on two or more clubs you pick your team. If a club doesn’t field a full team you can merge with another club.

AND the IBM Department provides FREE FOOD at the event! (Sorry, we can’t do beer on campus)

Now, the hard part. When to have this gala? Friday afternoon? Saturday? Sunday afternoon? You tell me.

And we tentatively will play this series on the CPP varsity baseball diamond—a full stadium with bleachers!

We’re doing this sometime in May. Best times and dates?

Oh yeah…this is 16-inch SLOW PITCH softball. No gloves required. Just smiles.
